Alicia Keys New Album Work For This Year Under Process
Alicia Keys camp sources has revealed that the "Speechless" songstress is at work on a new studio album that is due out later this year.
Keys' longtime producer Kerry "Krucial" Brothers confirms that he couldn't unveil much, but the singer is already in the studio.
"We do got a release coming this year, but I can't speak on it yet. Last week we was in the studio working on stuff," he told the site.
"The writing is the same. The only thing changed is the schedule. We leave earlier now. No more to-the-crack-of-dawn stuff - at least not for now," he added.

New Alicia Keys album confirmed for this year
It has been exclusively confirmed by Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers producer of Alicia Keys that the R&B songstress will unleash her fifth studio album later this year.

Keys' 2009 album 'The Element of Freedom' debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, racking up 417,000 in sales during its first week in stores. In recent weeks, the 'Empire State of Mind' singer has been catch out and about with husband Swizz Beatz, including courtside at a Knicks game in New York City.

Alicia Keys Grabbed Grammy For Best Rap Song
At Grammy Awards this year, Alicia Keys and Jay-Z had collected the award for best rap song.
Alicia Keys has already teased fans to expect the unexpected when she comes at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (13Feb11) as she told that she is planning some think big for the annual music ceremony.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Have something special 4 u. Tune in2 grammys 2 find out. Not quite what you think."
Who could have been thought that she will surprise fans by collecting award for best rap music.

Alicia Keys Praise Protester in Eygpt
Tribute has been paid by Alicia keys to those people who are fighting for a change in Egypt in a passionate post on her website.
The 30-year old singer noted that when she took an inspirational three-week trip through the country in 2006 she realised of the growing movement against the country`s government.
The `Empire State of Mind` hitmaker said she was so deeply moved by Egypt that she named her first-born son after the Middle East nation last year.
Keys writes, "I have visited Egypt and, as I travelled through along the streets of Cairo, the back streets of Alexandria and the villages along the Nile, it was easy to see that a small, quiet vibration was growing, building, reaching to a pitch that is now heard by the ears of the world.
"In every case this deeply rooted will to express what cannot be denied, rises up and forces all of us to recognise and respect this voice that produced the sound of freedom playing long and strong throughout Egypt.
"Now when I look at my son, I realise more than ever that his name represents more than the will to be free – it stands for the fight for change, and the courage to shout! We can hear the voice... and it is ours."
