Alicia Keys Being Sued For Plagiarism

For allegedly stealing Ursh’s 2004 Confessions hit record “Caught Up” from an unfamiliar songwriter both Alicia Keys and Usher has been sued for it.

In the Eastern District of New York, a law suit is fitted by Wadena Pyatt, the track is a “plagiarized” version of a tune she penned as an artist on Keys’ MBK Entertainment label.

It has been claimed by Pyatt she wrote the original version of “Caught Up” in 2002 while she was under contract with MBK—which is owned by Keys and her business partner, Jeff Robinson

Pyatt has now claimed all the charges and if any profit they had received from the sale from Alicia Keys and Usher
